Officially Speaking! Sunday Mentoring Forum 615p Zoom: 🎙️Officially Speaking! Get Mid'd Up: 615p
Discussion Topic: Join Mark Lootens to talk communication, de-escalation & referee development⚽

We're excited to welcome Mark Lootens, Co-Founder & CEO of Mic'd Up / Elements Athletics as we introduce a new development partnership TRG will be rolling out this fall.

We spend a lot of time teaching referees where to be, what to see and what decision to make. Mic'd Up gives us an opportunity to start intentionally developing another part of officiating that's every bit as important — what we say, how we say it and how we use communication to manage the game.

🎯 Mark will join us to talk about what Mic'd Up is, why communication and de-escalation are such important referee skills and how we can use this technology for self-reflection, mentoring and development.

As always we'll also have time to talk through your matches from the weekend — decisions, situations, questions and learning moments.

The purpose of mentoring is to grow by tapping into knowledge and experience of someone further along than ourself. It's the best way to accelerate our development as a referee. Mentorship has been the #1 focus for our TRG community over the past few years.

We designed this Sunday night mentoring forum from your feedback wanting resources for input, tips and discussion. Our leadership team provides our referee community a chance to talk through 'stuff' learn about 'stuff' and how to apply the LOTG in various 'stuff'.

Bring your thoughts, concerns and questions every Sunday night!

We dont have an ending time but it wont be a long discussion - just drop in when you can leave when you need to. We expect most of the time 30-45 minutes sometimes longer or shorter depending on how much talking we do and how many join us :)
